Cassie Courtney
Sales Associate
Cassie became a licensed real estate agent in 2014 and joined Wallace & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty as the Rental Department manager. In 2018 she joined the sales team and quickly established herself as a successful sales agent in her own right. As a member of the Edgartown Historic Commission for four years prior to moving to Chilmark, Cassie has extensive knowledge in local Historic District requirements and regulations extending to appropriate maintenance and restoration of properties within the Historic District, among other things.
Growing up in upstate New York, Cassie became familiar with the island by spending summers here with her family. Shortly after graduating from SUNY Cortland in 2008, she returned to the island to manage several retail stores in downtown Edgartown - where she met Patrick, a local business owner, and has been a year-round resident ever since. Cassie and Patrick recently moved to Chilmark with their son, Abe, and their two labs. When they have the time Cassie and Patrick enjoy fishing, traveling, and walking the many island trails.
